So, what do you think? Cabot looks pretty happy sitting on top of it. He was told standing in the HUGE salvage yard that he was "in Heaven". He was impressed with that! Phil took a bunch of pictures that we are going to frame for the walls in his room. He will finally have a room to himself sometime next month! He is pretty thrilled about that one so... We are going to make it a "farm" room. He already has a John Deere blanket! If you are looking for something cool for the boy, head on over to Cracker Barrel they have a great assortment of John Deere!
OK, really I think that I had better get a good Christmas gift since Phil was able to purchase that tractor! What do you all think? A nice new diamond? (hint hint hint) or a new bedroom set? (hint hint hint) hopefully Phil is reading this!!
Merry Christmas!!!

Hey Jen! Nice Tractor--you're such a hick ;)
Hey Jen, just so you know, I started a blog...just today. Maybe that way we can stay in touch better. I did notice that you have had plenty of time to write new posts, yet my emails have been sparce...please explain...
OK, make me feel guilty in a public forum!! thanks a lot!! I
e-mailed you just last week a VERY LONG one too if I remember correctly! I will do better at it or at least try too. I think I am doing better now than when you first left for school right?? And oh, I don't think I will actually be driving that thing! It was just something good to write about! :) Happy Birthday...to you...happy birthday to you...happy birthday dear NIkki...Happy Birthday to you!!...
Doesn't my dad have an eye for gifts? My mom got a kicker for the baler for one of their anniversaries.
I can't believe Cabot wants his room decorated in John Deere- that is the worst type of tractor... "tractor trash" as we call it at home. If you look on eBay you can find quite the assortment of Oliver products... the brand of tractor for the tractor collector with taste.
Ho Ho Ho
A Minnie Moe.
Haven't seen one of them since Mrs. C. and I spent a vacation one summer in Minneapolis.
We are having a little problem here this week as my trusty sled pullers have informed me they may not want to work next week on evening of the 24th and early morning of the 25th. What am I to do. DO you think that boy, ahh--what was his name---Oh yes, I remember, it's some kind of cheese.
Anyway, would it be possible to borrow that speedster Minnie Mo next week? I promise to have it back to you by the 27th all full of fuel and ready to go.
Please oh please.
Thank you Cheeseman.
Now "On Rudolph, On Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Donder, Blitzen, Cupid and Comet.
Oh Oh Oh I'm getting older and I can't remember to call them in the same order.
Thank you Mr Cheese man
S. Claus
Sure Mr Clause, glad to see you are back into the blog thing. Is life getting any easier? :) do you have fewer things to do? Say hi to the Mrs!
Please:
My name is S. Claus not Clause.
The word clause actually means" A group of words containing a subject and a predicate and forming part of a compound or complex sentance or a distinct article, stipulation, or provision in a document."
Aren't you glad you asked?
S. CLAUS AKA SANTA
i'm so sorry... no, really, i'm sorry my father has had that influence on your family. That's the way my dad is. he's like a drug dealer with tractors. he starts his clients out with a small fix, and then gets them hooked and coming back for more. next thing you know, Cabot's riding his college fund through a potato field with mud caking on his sweat covered face.
Hey S. Claus---
Why don't you have some type of spell check on this thing?
Why oh Why??
Sentence, NOT sentance---- correction to post left by my Hubby at 12:19 this afternoon.
Mrs. Claus
Thanks Tim, just try and remember NO tractors for a gift for you wife (unless she really wants one of course!)
I think people who look down on other people for having the wrong kind of tractor need HELP! :)
How do I fare with my Husqvarna?
I'd be glad to give Cabot and the girls a hay-ride on the dumptruck attachment when the weather gets nice! (But you have to visit!) hint hint
Oh, and bring Moose! (STRONG hint hint)
Sorry, Mark. That doesn't even QUALIFY as a "real" tractor! It's OK to be snobby when it comes to tractors. (have you ever seen the people who collect them? ;) Husqvarna used to make a really hot dirtbike once...as I recall from our dirt biking phase (prior to antique tractor phase)
How do I fare with my Husqvarna?
Mark, we will just say that I too have a Husqvarna. I just use mine to make dresses, or curtains or quilts. I don't think that John Deere, Oliver, Minnie Mo, Case, International...make those machines too!! LOL ;) So, I wouldn't brag about your "tractor" As for the tracor ride. Yeah, we will come, we just need the offical invite. Hey, I will even bring the moose! Yeah, I know we had to cancel on you before, but it was legit! really!!
